Avery's Daily ShitStorm: 2014: Where Being Black Is Punishable By Death.

Over the past 2 weeks some events have taken place that enraged communities both black and white across the nation.

The first being the grand jury case dealing with the Michael Brown shooting.

18 years old, African American male, unarmed, shot 6 times [4 times in his right arm and 2 in the head], by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer, left in the street for FOUR HOURS! FOUR FUCKING HOURS. I forgot where I heard this but someone said that slave masters used to beat/kill slaves and leave them out in the open for the other slaves to see what was done to them and instill fear in their hearts so that they wouldn't do whatever the slave that was beat/killed did. That comparison hurt, because it could damn near be true! Why was his body left in the street for 4 hours? This video from CNN shows how open Michael Browns body was in the street... for 4 hours.

The second being the murder of Eric Garner by NYPD, who put him in a chokehold, which caused him to have an asthma attack. Chokeholds are not even accepted in the police department they are illegal, and the officer, like the one that killed Michael Brown was also NOT INDICTED. This is wild, not to mention that the whole altercation was caught on camera!!!

Later the man who filmed it has been arrested on a gun charge by NYPD, aint that some shit? I'm not saying maybe he was a criminal, but WHAT ARE THE ODDS??

NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was caught on video choking unarmed Eric Garner to death, will not face charges in the incident, but a grand jury did indict Ramsey Orta, the man who filmed the video of Eric Garner's death, on gun charges. Orta claims that NYPD officers arrested him in an effort to retaliate against him for filming the video.
“You’re just mad because I filmed your boy,” said Ramsey Orta, according to The Huffington Post

idk. These kinda hit close to home [literally & figuratively], cause that could have been me or any one of my family members or friends; we're young, we're black, who says that we're any different? Yes Michael Brown may have stolen cigarellos from a corner store, but were they really worth him dying over? Yes Officer Darren Wilson may have felt his life was threatened, do cops not get training to subdue a suspected criminal? Are all cops told to use deadly force? To discharge their weapon 6 times to stop one person that was supposedly far enough away that he caused no immediate threat?

I don't know all the facts to this case; personally I think no one does but the officer. Supposedly as of 6 days ago Darren Wilson has accumulated $500,000 dollars in donations, and more money is coming in, he also got paid for his interview on ABC News...

Amerikkka... Oops I meant America... America has paid a man for stealing the life of a young black man. THAT SHIT IS ATROCIOUS.

Since when was murder greeted with anything but jail time? Since when did the "government" stop working for the people? WE THE PEOPLE! We control this; the system should work for us!

We people [minorities, who are actually the majority if you want specifics], we have the power to make change, we have to power to get shit done, we have the power to get our voices heard and, personally I think, it starts with each of us as individuals.

They killing our brothers man... That don't get you riled up? The internet can spread the word but you gotta do something [peacefully]. Don't let this fade, THEY'RE KILLING US WITH NO CONSEQUENCE? This is america dawg "land of the free" for who? Us? I think not. Stand for something. We have the power to bring change, we have the power to keep relevant news in the media, we have the power to keep things like this from happening. It's not saying " fuckthepolice " that’s not changing anything, can't be keyboard warriors and expect change. It's not boycotting one or two shopping day [Black Friday & Cyber Monday] and expecting things to change. Go out and be part of something bigger than yourself. Go voice your opinion [peacefully], don't talk [complain on the internet] about how the system is unjust, doesn’t work for you and just disregard it tomorrow. Man Michael Brown could've have been any of us, any black man or child that you know. Let’s prove them wrong let’s do positive shit and get acknowledged, maybe this will help better us as a people. Be the change you wanna see right?
